Overview Join our hospitality team as a Houseman, where your dedication to cleanliness and service excellence will shine! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of our facilities to ensure a welcoming and pristine environment for guests and staff alike. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help uphold our standards of hospitality, creating memorable experiences for everyone who walks through our doors. The Houseperson supports the housekeeping team in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the hotel's public areas, back-of-house spaces, and guest floors. This role ensures that housekeeping staff have the supplies and assistance needed to maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the property. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Weekend availability is required. Key Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and organization of hotel public areas, including lobby, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and public restrooms. Assist housekeeping staff by delivering linens, towels, amenities, and other supplies to guest floors. Remove trash and soiled linens from housekeeping areas and guest floors. Vacuum hallways and clean guest floor corridors as scheduled. Assist with setting up and breaking down meeting rooms or common areas when needed. Respond promptly to housekeeping and guest requests. Support housekeeping team during high occupancy periods. Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and brand standards. Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management promptly. Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned. Qualifications Previous hotel or cleaning experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Must be reliable and punctual.
