Housekeeper

Purpose of the

Job:

Maintain the cleanliness of the church facilities for planned church services, activities, and events in addition to regular office cleaning.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

Proven track record of effective time management At least one year of previous housekeeping experience Teachable s pirit, strong work ethic, commitment to excellence Ability to communicate with and delegate to volunteer housekeeping teams

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Dust, vacuum, mop and disinfect various spaces of Victory Church. Areas to clean include but are not limited to : Office Areas Bathrooms Auditoriums Kids Rooms Multi-Purpose Spaces Lobby's Follow safety protocols to ensure self, staff and volunteers are in a safe and healthy environment ( i.e. use wet floor signs, safe use of chemical cleansers). Work with volunteer housekeeping team to maintain appropriate standard of cleanliness and delegate responsibilities when necessary . Other duties as assigned .

Physical Demands:

Pushing and pulling up to 30 pounds. Lift up to 30 pounds. Reaching, bending, stooping, and handling objects with hands and / or fingers Ability to climb a ladder or stepstool. Supervisory Responsibilities (if applicable) : None
