Hotel Housekeeper

Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and disinfect guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and sanitizing bathrooms to ensure a hygienic environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and restocking supplies. Perform detailed floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, polishing floors, and using industrial cleaning equipment to uphold safety and appearance standards. Manage laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels in accordance with hotel protocols. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards. Follow all safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure availability for daily operations. Qualifications Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred; experience in industrial cleaning or janitorial work is a plus. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and use of janitorial equipment. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts. Knowledge of hospitality industry standards or previous hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
