Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential or commercial spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Manage laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing. Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed to maintain a healthy environment. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any guest or resident inquiries and requests promptly. Execute floor care duties such as carpet cleaning and maintenance of hard surface floors. Assist with cooking and meal preparation as needed. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Uphold housekeeping standards by following established procedures for cleaning and organization. Skills Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles is preferred. Familiarity with janitorial practices and commercial cleaning techniques is a plus. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and guests. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently. Knowledge of floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning methods. Previous hotel experience or housekeeping management experience is beneficial. Attention to detail in all aspects of cleaning and organization.
