Housekeeper

HousekeeperWesttown School seeks an experienced Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in designated campus buildings and offices. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the full-time Housekeeper works from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work required for campus events. This is a year-round, benefits-eligible position. Housekeeping team members are considered essential personnel and, as such, are expected to be available during inclement weather and other school-closing situations.

Essential ResponsibilitiesDust, sweep, mop, and vacuum designated areas;Trash removal and disposal;Cleaning of high-use surfaces in accordance with our current disinfecting and sanitizing protocols;Disinfecting bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, and countertops, replacing paper products, sweeping, and mopping floors;Cleaning of dormitory, offices and classroom areas;Routine detail cleaning of assigned areas;May assist with some event setups and breakdowns, including moving tables and chairs;May assist in moving small furniture items, including bed frames, mattresses, and similar items;Maintain professional and appropriate relations with students, parents, and staff at all times;Adhere to all safety protocols and proper usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment;Perform other duties as assigned.
