As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our facility, ensuring a positive experience for our residents and staff. We offer a full continuum of care, from temporary respite care, to long-term skilled nursing, and we are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate individual to join our team.
Housekeeper Responsibilities:
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of patient rooms, common areas, and public spaces, adhering to infection control policies and procedures Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces Change linens, towels, and mattresses as needed Restock supplies and restock drawers with fresh linens and toiletries Assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, and folding linens Maintain a safe and secure environment by reporting any hazards or issues to management Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure efficient and effective operations
Housekeeper Requirements:
One year of experience working as a laundry aide or housekeeper preferably in a healthcare facility Ability to stand for long periods and move around facility Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and infection control practices Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service Ability to work independently and as part of a team
