Job Description
Iva Post Acute is a beautiful 60-bed skilled nursing and rehab facility conveniently located in Iva, just a short distance from Anderson and Abbeville, South Carolina. It feels like home where you will enter the building through our inviting lobby and you shouldn't be surprised to find it full of people enjoying a piece on the piano played by one of our talented CNAs. SC HOUSEKEEPING
Essential Duties:
- Maintain all public and common areas throughout the day including lobby, restrooms, drinking fountains and floors.
- Maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms and bathrooms.
- Maintain handrails to ensure they are clean and free of debris.
- Clean and remove dust, dirt or food off walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures. towel bars, towel dispensers.
- Empty trash cans and replace liners.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Utilize proper safety measures when cleaning, including the use of caution signage and keeping supplies and chemicals out of reach of the residents.
- Use supplies and equipment in a safe manner by following the user manual instructions.
- Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment and storage areas in a safe, sanitary, clean and orderly manner.
- Notify the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of Nursing immediately regarding resident safety issues or concerns.
- Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies are needing replenished.
- Excellent customer skills and positive attitude.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently or with a team Successful candidates will have the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a Long-Term Care or healthcare setting preferred
