In this vital role, you will ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards. Maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, polishing floors, and ensuring all surfaces are spotless. Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels in accordance with hotel procedures. Use specialized floor care equipment for stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing various flooring types to preserve their appearance and longevity. Follow safety protocols during cleaning tasks to ensure a safe environment for yourself and guests. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold property standards. Assist with inventory management by organizing cleaning supplies and equipment for easy access and efficient workflow. Experience Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles within hospitality environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques, including floor care and industrial cleaning methods. Knowledge of janitorial supplies, equipment operation, and safety procedures related to industrial cleaning tasks. Experience managing housekeeping operations or supervising a team is a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while adhering to safety guidelines.
