Housekeeper

Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join the team at Spark by Hilton Rock Hill. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and guest-ready rooms and public areas while delivering excellent hospitality standards. This role plays an important part in creating a positive guest experience through cleanliness, organization, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel brand standards Change linens, make beds, and replenish towels and amenities Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms Clean hallways, elevators, lobby areas, and other public spaces as assigned Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly Restock housekeeping carts and supply closets Follow hotel safety, sanitation, and security procedures Respond courteously to guest requests and questions Work efficiently to meet daily room quotas and deadlines Assist with laundry duties when needed Qualifications Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred, but not required Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift Must be able to lift up to 25-30 pounds Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Desired Skills Positive attitude and strong work ethic Good time management skills Ability to follow instructions and brand standards Customer service mindset with a friendly demeanor Work Environment Fast-paced hotel environment Physically active role requiring standing, walking, lifting, bending, and repetitive motion Indoor work environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals and laundry operations
