In this role you will be required to perform a variety of basic housekeeping and custodial tasks, generally routine and/or repetitive in nature, requiring the use of a wide range of basic housekeeping equipment. The work area may be restricted to either patient or non-patient areas, but also can be a combination of both.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Must be able to communicate, understand and follow instructions. High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required.

EXPERIENCE

Six (6) months experience in housekeeping required. Health care housekeeping experienced preferred.

PHYSICAL

Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Ability to lift and carry supplies.

SPECIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to work around and among mentally disturbed persons. Willingness to perform a variety of repetitive tasks on a continuous basis to maintain flow of work.

ENVIRONMENT

Will be working throughout the facility which is climate controlled. Noise may be minimal to high depending on activity/equipment being used.
