In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure our guests enjoy a pristine environment that exceeds expectations. Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms using appropriate cleaning techniques and chemical agents while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Handle cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely, ensuring proper storage and disposal in compliance with safety protocols. Perform manual handling tasks such as making beds, vacuuming carpets, dusting surfaces, and changing linens efficiently. Care for floors by sweeping, mopping and vacuuming to maintain a spotless appearance. Assist in hotel housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly to supervisors. Follow hotel emergency procedures during incidents or safety concerns to ensure guest and staff safety at all times. Engage in custodial activities that promote a hygienic environment aligned with hospitality standards and industrial cleaning practices. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience within a hotel or hospitality setting is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning procedures, floor care techniques, and the safe handling of chemical agents. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems and procedures enhances efficiency. Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks necessary for moving furniture or supplies. Understanding of hotel emergency procedures ensures readiness in critical situations. Proven ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
