Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors to maintain pristine conditions. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency. Prepare and serve meals or snacks as needed, demonstrating basic cooking skills to support household or guest needs. Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly. Manage residential or hotel cleaning schedules, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion of all duties. Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents' or guests' requests promptly and professionally. Operate janitorial equipment safely and effectively for carpet cleaning, floor care, and other specialized cleaning tasks. Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience in residential settings or hospitality environments is highly desirable. Experience with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures and safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and tools. Familiarity with laundry operations, including handling delicate fabrics and stain removal. Background in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is advantageous for leadership roles. Hotel housekeeping experience can provide valuable insight into guest service standards. Demonstrated ability to perform floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning with precision.
