Room Attendant

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and guest satisfaction. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and a commitment to excellence are valued. Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or hospitality is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate. The Room Attendant plays a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests through exceptional custodial care. Responsibilities Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies Perform floor care duties such as mopping and carpet cleaning to maintain a pristine environment Ensure all areas are sanitized and disinfected, adhering to health and safety protocols Handle linen management, including collecting soiled linens and delivering fresh linens to guest rooms Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management Maintain cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, and public areas as needed Follow all hotel policies related to security, safety, and confidentiality Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as assigned Experience Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or janitorial services is highly desirable Experience with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment is a plus Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service principles is beneficial Prior housekeeping management experience is advantageous but not required Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and cleanliness to contribute to a positive guest experience.
