POSITION SUMMARY

Perform any combination of janitorial and maintenance support to ensure the Emory Mills Senior Living campus is clean and tidy at all times.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Respond to resident questions and assist residents to handle any concerns brought forward. Greet residents as they arrive and assist residents with transporting personal items to and from cars. Anticipate guest needs and respond appropriately. Assist with deliveries to and from residents. Clean and maintain all common areas within the campus with special attention to campus lobby, areas inside and outside of lobby doors. Maintain and clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and all work areas on campus. Replenish supplies in resident rooms and support housekeeping team with all cleaning duties as needed for resident care. Prepare rooms for residents and ensure that resident community areas and meeting rooms are well equipped and neat. Move and arrange furniture to accommodate residents or in preparation for meetings. Take company vehicles for repairs when necessary. Assist front desk staff as needed. Respond to residents, supervisors and management in a timely manner. Maintain regular and timely attendance Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED required. Experience as a housekeeper in an assisted living or similar setting. Ability to relate well to people and demonstrate appropriate, compassionate care for seniors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must be able to sit / stand for 8 hours. Walking, bending, light lifting up to 50 lbs. Emory Mills Senior Living is an equal opportunity employer.
