Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, to maintain a pristine appearance. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, hallways, by disinfecting surfaces and restocking supplies. Operate janitorial equipment such as vacuums efficiently and safely. Follow established environmental services protocols to ensure eco-friendly practices are upheld during all cleaning activities. Identify areas needing special attention or repair and report maintenance issues promptly to supervisors. Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations. Experience Previous janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or institutional settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with various cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, buffing, and general sanitation procedures. Knowledge of environmental services standards and best practices for maintaining hygienic environments. Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
