Housekeeper

Memphis Jewish Home & Rehab (MJHR) is actively looking for dedicated individuals to join our Environmental Services / Housekeeping team.

Work Hours:

7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., two week rotating schedule. Flexibility to work weekends needed.

Responsibilities include:

Cleaning and disinfecting resident and patient rooms Cleaning common areas and offices Removing trash and paper from inside the facility Ensuring work / cleaning schedules are followed, while maintaining a safe and secure environment for all staff, resident, and guests Completing routine cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using established methods Cleaning and disinfecting fixtures, wet moping, and other similar duties Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

Prior experience in housekeeping in the equivalent in a health care and/or hospitality environment preferred. Must have a high level of attention to detail and enjoy working in and around the senior community. Memphis Jewish Home and Rehab is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
