Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tool Room Attendant and play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and organization of our workshop and supply areas. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for managing tool inventory, ensuring proper storage, and supporting manufacturing and automotive service operations. Your proactive approach will help streamline processes, support procurement activities, and uphold safety standards across the facility. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in supply chain management, warehouse operations, and equipment maintenance within a fast-paced environment. Duties Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper materials handling Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading, unloading, and verifying inbound and outbound shipments Support procurement processes by tracking materials movement and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery Utilize warehouse management systems (eSAP) software. Update inventory records and monitor stock status Conduct data collection and analysis to identify trends, root causes of stock discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement Perform heavy lifting as needed to move materials safely within the warehouse environment 15-20 pounds Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred Strong data analysis skills with proficiency Knowledge of supply chain management principles, including inventory control, procurement, and logistics Familiarity with warehouse management systems (eSAP), and materials handling equipment like forklifts (certification preferred) Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on root cause analysis and process improvement strategies Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in supply chain analytics, warehouse systems, and procurement processes.
