Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Your attention to detail, proactive approach, and commitment to excellence will ensure that every space reflects the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a positive guest experience while working in a fast-paced, rewarding setting. Responsibilities Essential Duties Maintain all public and common areas throughout the day including lobby, restrooms, drinking fountains and floors. Maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms and bathrooms. Maintain handrails to ensure they are clean and free of debris. Clean and remove dust, dirt or food off walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures. towel bars, towel dispensers. Empty trash cans and replace liners. Sweep and mop floors. Utilize proper safety measures when cleaning, including the use of caution signage and keeping supplies and chemicals out of reach of the residents. Use supplies and equipment in a safe manner by following the user manual instructions. Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment and storage areas in a safe, sanitary, clean and orderly manner. Notify the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of Nursing immediately regarding resident safety issues or concerns. Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies are needing replenished. Excellent customer skills and positive attitude. Excellent time-management skills. Ability to work independently or with a team.

Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping roles within hotels or similar environments Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing surfaces Familiarity with industrial cleaning tools and supplies for efficient service delivery Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is a plus but not required Join us in creating inviting spaces where guests feel valued and cared for! Pay:
$11.00 - $14.00 per hour
