Housekeeping

JSW Steel is seeking a Housekeeper who will be responsible for performing all duties related to the cleaning and upkeep of restrooms and offices within the mill. This role ensures a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for employees and visitors. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all areas within the steel mill, including workstations, break rooms, restrooms, and common areas. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a pristine environment. Sanitize surfaces regularly to uphold health and safety standards in accordance with industrial protocols. Manage laundry tasks for employee uniforms and facility linens to ensure cleanliness and freshness. Handle custodial responsibilities including waste disposal, restroom sanitation, and equipment cleaning with attention to detail. Assist with janitorial duties such as window washing, dusting high surfaces, and maintaining cleaning supplies inventory. Support overall facility maintenance by reporting any repair needs or safety hazards promptly. Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is highly preferred. Experience with residential or commercial cleaning tasks including floor care and sanitation procedures. Background in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is advantageous due to customer service skills. Familiarity with laundry processes and carpet cleaning techniques is beneficial. Knowledge of housekeeping management practices and safety protocols within a large-scale industrial environment. Proven ability to work independently while adhering to strict cleanliness standards. Must be comfortable wearing PPE. Able to work Monday-Friday from 4:30 AM to 12:30 pm. Bilingual is a plus.
