Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in residential or commercial spaces, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment for clients. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning and housekeeping duties efficiently. Experience in hotel, janitorial, or custodial services is highly valued, along with skills in floor care, laundry, and carpet cleaning. The Housekeeper will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing Maintain floor care through sweeping, polishing, and carpet cleaning as needed Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed to promote a safe environment Manage janitorial tasks including trash removal and restocking supplies Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously Assist with housekeeping management tasks when required, including scheduling and inventory management Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping preferred; experience with residential or commercial cleaning is a plus Skills in floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation, and laundry operations Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Excellent attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments Prior janitorial or custodial experience is advantageous; experience in housecleaning management is a plus Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment This position offers an opportunity to contribute to creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments for clients while developing valuable skills in the housekeeping industry.
