Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene. Maintain cleanliness of public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and recreational areas to ensure a welcoming atmosphere. Handle laundry duties by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently. Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to care for various floor types, including carpets, tiles, and hardwood surfaces. Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a safe environment for staff and guests. Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management for prompt resolution. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality-related housekeeping roles. Knowledge of floor care techniques for different surfaces including industrial cleaning methods. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple rooms and areas effectively. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and properly use cleaning chemicals. Experience in hotel housekeeping management or supervising team members is a plus. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond to guest requests professionally.
