This position is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms, maintaining hotel cleanliness standards, and helping create a comfortable and welcoming experience for every guest. The Hotel Housekeeper, also commonly known as a Room Attendant, plays a key role in the daily operation of the hotel. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in clean rooms, organized spaces, and being part of a hospitality team that values service, teamwork, and attention to detail. Responsibilities Clean assigned guest rooms according to hotel and brand standards Make beds, change linens, dust, vacuum, mop, and clean bathrooms Replenish towels, amenities, supplies, and guest room items Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and lost and found items Report maintenance concerns, safety issues, or damaged items to hotel leadership Clean and maintain housekeeping carts, storage areas, laundry areas, and workspaces Assist with public area cleanliness as needed Follow proper procedures for handling linens, cleaning chemicals, and guest belongings Maintain a professional and friendly attitude when interacting with guests and team members Support the housekeeping team and hotel operations during busy periods Help maintain a clean and welcoming hotel environment for guests, associates, and visitors Qualifications Required Previous housekeeping, cleaning, janitorial, hotel, or related work experience preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean spaces Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time Ability to bend, lift, push, pull, and complete physical work throughout the shift Ability to follow instructions, cleaning standards, and safety procedures Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed Preferred Previous hotel housekeeping or room attendant experience Experience working in a Wyndham, La Quinta, Marriott, Hilton, IHG, or other branded hotel environment Knowledge of hotel guest room cleaning standards Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and cleanliness Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus Schedule Flexible schedule based on business needs Day shift Weekends and holidays as needed Job Type Full-time Part-time Pay Starting at $13.00 per hour and up based on experience Benefits Eligible associates may be offered: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company contribution Paid time off Holiday pay Wyndham hotel travel discounts and perks Growth and advancement opportunities with an established hotel management company Join Our Team This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in clean rooms, enjoys hands-on work, and wants to be part of a hotel team focused on service, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.
