Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Laundry and Housekeeping Member to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens, towels, and clothing items through efficient laundry and housekeeping practices. Your attention to detail and commitment to hygiene will ensure a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines to process linens, towels, and guest clothing items efficiently. Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper handling. Perform cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting designated areas to uphold cleanliness standards. Manage dry cleaning processes for delicate or specialized garments as needed. Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and notify management when stock levels are low. Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating machinery to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist with general housekeeping tasks to support overall cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors, and service areas. Skills Proven experience in laundry operations or housekeeping within a hospitality or hotel environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, ironing, and dry cleaning processes. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on hygiene standards and quality control. Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently. Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and moving items throughout shifts. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and follow instructions accurately. Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as required.
