Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your energy and attention to detail will create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a spotless environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational facilities, ensuring they are inviting and well-maintained. Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance. Handle janitorial duties efficiently by managing cleaning supplies inventory and ensuring proper storage and disposal of waste. Assist with laundry services by washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing as needed. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or damage while maintaining a healthy environment for guests and staff. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of daily cleaning schedules and special requests from guests or management. Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards is a plus. Demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial or janitorial cleaning methods. Knowledge of hospitality industry practices that enhance guest satisfaction through cleanliness and presentation. Experience managing housekeeping tasks within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Background in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning teams is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Strong work ethic with the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines diligently.
