After business hours (days and times to be determined) Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented cleaning company to provide daily after-hours janitorial services for our daycare facility. The goal is to maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff while following health and safety standards. Responsibilities The cleaning company will be responsible for the following tasks after the daycare has closed: Daily Cleaning Duties Sweep all classrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas. Mop all hard-surface floors. Vacuum rugs and carpeted areas as needed. Empty all trash cans and replace liners. Remove trash from the building and place it in designated outdoor dumpsters. Wipe down and sanitize tables, countertops, desks, shelves, and other frequently touched surfaces. Clean and sanitize light switches, door handles, and other high-touch areas. Spot clean walls, doors, and windows as needed. Dust furniture, shelves, and accessible surfaces. Clean and sanitize restroom sinks, toilets, mirrors, and fixtures. Refill restroom supplies if provided by the daycare. Clean and disinfect break room and kitchen surfaces. Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly stored before leaving. General Expectations Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working in the facility. Lock all doors and ensure the building is secure upon departure. Report any maintenance concerns, damages, or safety hazards immediately. Use child-safe cleaning products approved by the daycare (or products approved by licensing regulations). Maintain consistent attendance and reliable service. Qualifications Experience providing commercial janitorial services preferred. Must be dependable, trustworthy, and able to work independently. Must pass any required background checks if entering a licensed childcare facility. Must be insured and bonded (preferred). Ability to follow cleaning schedules and checklists. Performance Expectations Complete all assigned cleaning duties each scheduled visit. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation. Communicate promptly regarding scheduling changes or facility concerns. Leave the facility clean, organized, and ready for children and staff the following morning.

Pay:

$16.00 - $26.19 per hour
