Housekeeper

Job Summary The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and other assigned areas to ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. This position helps maintain the hotel's quality standards and provides excellent customer service when interacting with guests. Main ResponsibilitiesRoom Cleaning Clean and arrange rooms to hotel standards. Make beds, change sheets and replace towels. Dusting, disinfecting bathrooms, and cleaning floors. Replenish amenities such as soap, shampoo, coffee, and stationery. Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly. Bathroom Maintenance Clean and disinfect sinks, toilets, bathtubs, showers, floors, and mirrors. Restock bathroom supplies and report any plumbing problems. Public and Service Areas Clean hallways, elevators, lobby, and employee areas when assigned. Keep the cleaning cart and supply rooms tidy and in good repair. Reporting & Security Report maintenance issues (broken objects, leaks, blown lights) to the supervisor. Follow all safety and sanitation policies. Handle guests' belongings with care and immediately turn over lost items to the appropriate department. Guest Service Kindly greet guests when they are found in the hotel areas. Respond to guest requests quickly and professionally. Clean and arrange rooms to hotel standards. Make beds, change sheets and replace towels. Dusting, disinfecting bathrooms, and cleaning floors. Qualifications Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred, but not required. Ability to stand for long periods and lift 10 to 15 lbs. Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
