Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Housekeeping Room Attendant and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. This energetic position offers the opportunity to contribute to the overall cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and proactive approach will help uphold our high standards of hygiene and environmental services. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, restrooms, and hallways using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Ensure all surfaces are sanitized according to health and safety standards, including OSHA guidelines for workplace safety Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and floor care techniques to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning products to ensure availability for staff and guests Follow proper waste disposal procedures in line with sanitation protocols and environmental services best practices Conduct regular inspections to identify areas needing additional attention or maintenance issues requiring escalation Adhere to all janitorial and custodial procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe chemical handling Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience in commercial cleaning environments preferred Experience working in healthcare settings such as hospitals or similar environments highly desirable Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to workplace safety and sanitation practices Familiarity with floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, polishing, and carpet cleaning Proven ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings Join us in creating a pristine environment that promotes health, safety, and comfort!
