Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry Worker to join our team. In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of our facility by performing cleaning, laundry, and floor care duties. Your efforts will directly contribute to a safe, comfortable, and inviting environment for residents, staff, and visitors alike. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and bathrooms using appropriate cleaning techniques and supplies Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently Maintain high standards of floor care through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces are spotless and safe Restock cleaning supplies and laundry materials as needed to support ongoing maintenance tasks Follow safety protocols for handling cleaning chemicals and laundry equipment to ensure a hazard-free environment Assist with janitorial tasks such as waste disposal, window cleaning, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness standards throughout the facility Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, and carpet cleaning Familiarity with laundry procedures in healthcare or hospitality settings Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety guidelines precisely Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork and resident care Prior experience in healthcare or skilled nursing facilities is preferred but not required Join us in creating a pristine environment where residents feel comfortable and cared for!
