Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort across our hospitality property. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily cleaning operations, ensure the highest standards of hygiene, and manage a team of cleaning staff to create a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping activities, including room cleaning, public area maintenance, and special cleaning projects. Develop and implement cleaning schedules to ensure timely and thorough service delivery. Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping staff to uphold cleanliness standards and safety procedures. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces to verify quality control. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment. Enforce health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and sanitation protocols. Collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs promptly and efficiently while maintaining operational excellence. Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial leadership roles with a strong background in hospitality settings. Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, industrial cleaning practices, and janitorial procedures. Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Familiarity with hotel operations, hospitality industry standards, and safety regulations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure. Excellent communication skills to train staff and coordinate with other departments. Previous experience with housekeeping management software or inventory systems is preferred.
