Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms to ensure a spotless environment. Maintain common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and public restrooms by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly. Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to management for prompt resolution. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred; familiarity with janitorial or industrial cleaning techniques is a plus. Knowledge of floor care methods such as carpet cleaning and hard surface maintenance enhances your effectiveness in this role. Experience in hospitality environments demonstrates your ability to deliver excellent guest service alongside cleaning duties. Strong understanding of cleaning standards, safety procedures, and sanitation practices ensures compliance with health regulations. Previous supervisory or housekeeping management experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team.
