Houseman/Maintenance 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars 1436 North Business Loop Ih 35, New Braunfels, TX 78130 From $14.50 an hour - Part-time, Seasonal Holiday Inn Express and Suites 4,860 reviews From $14.50 an hour - Part-time, Seasonal We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Part-Time Maintenance Associate to help maintain the quality and appearance of our hotel. This position is primarily focused on preventative maintenance and room upkeep , with occasional assistance provided to housekeeping and public area operations as needed. Schedule Applicants must be available to work:
Thursday & Friday:
4:00 PM - 9:00
PM Saturday & Sunday:
1:00 PM - 9:00 PM Evening and weekend availability is required. Primary Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas. Complete painting, touch-up painting, drywall repair, and caulking projects in guest rooms and bathrooms. Inspect rooms and common areas to identify and address maintenance needs before they become guest issues. Respond to guest maintenance requests and troubleshoot minor repairs. Repair or replace basic fixtures, hardware, and room amenities as needed. Assist with maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of the property. Including cleanliness of fitness room, pool area, outside of hotel and all other public areas. Secondary Responsibilities Assist with housekeeping projects and room cleaning when needed. Support the Houseman team with public area upkeep and cleanliness. Help with linen movement, trash removal, and other operational support tasks as assigned. Qualifications Previous maintenance, facilities, hotel maintenance, construction, or handyman experience preferred. Experience with painting, caulking, and minor repairs is highly desirable. Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Good customer service skills when interacting with guests. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
