Housekeeping Supervisor, Dinah Peacock•

Job Purpose:

To facilitate the upkeep and cleanliness of the facility and to assist with the enhancement of the property.•

Duties and Responsibilities:

o Sweep, clean, mop, and buff floors o Clean bathrooms and toilets, scrub tile o Dust and clean all surfaces daily, to include: mirrors, baseboards, blinds, and shelves o Empty and clean trash containers; dispose of trash in proper manner o Operate mechanical cleaning equipment o Sort and properly sore clean linen o Do not leave any items unattended that may cause a safety issue for residents o Sort, load, wash, dry and unload laundry o Work with and assist nursing staff in changing beds and resident clothes o Notify supervisor of any repairs needed to the facility of furniture o Report any resident medical concerns to nursing staff o Be in uniform in accordance with SAHR Employee Handbook o Any other requirements deemed necessary by administration •

Qualifications:

o High school diploma o Present a positive professional appearance •

Working Conditions:

This is an active job, and you will spend most of your day on your feet working with your hands. Working 8 hour shifts (4 on/2 off schedule) 7 am to 3 pm. •

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move boxes of equipment, weighing up to 50 pounds. Working inside and outside for extended periods. •

Compensation:

$10.00 an hour, subject to change based on experience and performance •
