- A Public Spaces attendant and Housekeeping Assistant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
What will I be doing? Supervising staff during shifts Ensuring rooms and other areas are clean and meet organization standards Training new housekeeping staff Managing cleaning supplies and equipment, coordinating repairs, placements and supply orders as needed Complying with safety and health regulations Maintain knowledge of and comply with departmental policies, service procedures, and standards Use equipment only as intended Anticipate and respond to guests' needs promptly Maintain positive guest relations at all times Be familiar with hotel services/features and local attractions to answer guest inquiries accurately Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned areas Secure assigned keys and beeper Review assignment sheet and update completed assignments Check with supervisor for additional assignments Review assigned area and remove trash or debris What are we looking for?
