Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and products Ensure all surfaces are sanitized in accordance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and sanitation protocols Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, or carpet cleaning using proper floor care techniques Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for staff and guests Follow environmental services procedures to properly dispose of waste and hazardous materials safely Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing additional attention or maintenance issues Adhere to all safety guidelines related to janitorial and custodial work, including OSHA regulations and environmental services best practices Qualifications Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred; experience in hospital or healthcare environments is a plus Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and environmental services procedures Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements related to cleaning chemicals and equipment Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers or carpet extractors is advantageous Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete daily tasks within scheduled shifts Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Join us in creating a pristine environment that promotes health, safety, and comfort.
