Location Overview Join our team in Amangiri. Blending into untouched red-rock country on over 900 acres of the Colorado Plateau, Amangiri and its satellite, Camp Sarika, reflect dual aspects of this ancient desert landscape. A serene sanctuary, Amangiri's 34 modernist suites, Aman Spa and mesa-embracing pool echo the tranquillity of the canyons. Camp Sarika, with its 10 tented pavilions, answers the region's call to adventure. An unrivalled base for exhilarating expeditions and fireside connection, the camp has its own restaurant, lounge and spa suites. Role At Amangiri, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional experiences in every detail. The Housekeeping Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the housekeeping team's day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth communication, accurate reporting, and prompt guest service. Acting as a central point of organization, this role ensures our housekeeping department operates seamlessly while maintaining the highest levels of service for both internal and external guests. Key Responsibilities As Housekeeping Coordinator, you will:
  • Ensure guest needs are met and expectations exceeded through timely, accurate service.
  • Open the housekeeping morning shift and prepare updated boards with guest information.
  • Issue keys/Voxer devices to staff, maintaining accurate records and filing.
  • Answer housekeeping calls promptly and courteously, resolving or relaying requests efficiently.
  • Maintain daily housekeeping reports, logbooks, and lost & found records.
  • Update Opera with current room status and track minibar usage and villa cleaning hours in Excel.
  • Support maintenance requests by coordinating with Engineering and ensuring follow-up.
  • Monitor housekeeping inventory, order supplies, and ensure forms are readily available for staff.
  • Assist with departmental inventories and record-keeping.
  • Uphold high grooming standards, a neat uniform, and adherence to Amangiri policies and procedures.
  • Provide cross-departmental support and assist management as needed. Required Experience & Qualifications
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel; ability to learn Opera and other systems quickly.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset with sensitivity to cultural nuances.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with professionalism and discretion.
