Laundry Room Attendant

Abbey Inn & Suites 940 W. 200 N. Cedar City, UT Pay is based upon experience. Start at $13.00/hr. and raise based upon performance after 90 days.

Shifts:

Open availability including Saturday and Sundays. 3 to 4 days a week. Provide the cleanest possible linens possible and maintain sanitary conditions of all laundry items. Responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel. Ability to safely operate all laundry room machinery. Ability to efficiently and effectively launder, fold and put away all laundered items. Perform all stages of linen processing, including, but not limited to, collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers and chutes), ironing, folding, storing and delivering. Maintain cleanliness of laundry machinery and laundry area. Ability and willingness to perform physical tasks such as, but not limited to: Bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs., squatting, extending arms over head, standing for several hours at a time. Ability to adhere to the policies and procedures of our Hotel and Laundry Room safety practices. Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. Perform additional laundry services, as needed Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Ability and willingness to communicate effectively in a courteous and friendly manner with guests and fellow team members. Present a professional image through your actions, appearance and dress. Personal responsibility, and punctuality are important employment factors.
