In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of guest areas, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to ensure spotless surfaces Assist with hotel setup and breakdown for events or functions, ensuring spaces are prepared and returned to standard standards Support housekeeping management by restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring safety protocols are followed Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed in back-of-house areas or service zones to uphold hygiene standards Handle custodial duties efficiently, including waste removal, window cleaning, and deep cleaning projects Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional hospitality service by maintaining a clean and organized environment Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a hospitality or hotel setting is highly preferred Experience with floor care techniques such as polishing and carpet extraction is advantageous Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies enhances effectiveness in the role Previous housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required Strong understanding of cleaning standards within hospitality environments ensures high-quality service delivery Join us in creating a welcoming atmosphere where cleanliness meets excellence!
