Hotel Housekeeper

As a hotel housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your attention to detail and proactive attitude will help elevate our guests' experience and uphold our reputation for excellence. Must be able to work weekends as we are now in our busy season. Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a pristine environment. Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall cleanliness of hallways and public areas. Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to meet guest needs efficiently. Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health standards. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and assist with linen management as needed. Support team efforts in deep cleaning projects or special event preparations to uphold the highest standards of hospitality. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning. Familiarity with hotel operations or custodial management is a plus. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy linens or moving cleaning equipment. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
