Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Houseman , where your energy and attention to detail will elevate guest experiences by maintaining a pristine, welcoming environment. In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure all public areas, guest rooms, and back-of-house spaces are spotless, organized, and inviting. Your proactive approach will help uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, contributing to memorable stays for our guests. This position offers an engaging opportunity to be part of a vibrant hospitality environment dedicated to excellence. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of public spaces, hallways, stairwells, and service areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies. Assist with the delivery and setup of guest amenities, linens, and supplies throughout the hotel. Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and applying appropriate floor care techniques to ensure a polished appearance. Support housekeeping staff with laundry duties and replenishing supplies in guest rooms and common areas. Ensure all janitorial equipment is properly maintained and stored securely after use. Follow health and safety protocols consistently to promote a clean, safe environment for guests and staff. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or industrial cleaning is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and moving supplies. Prior experience in housekeeper management or custodial supervision is a plus but not required.
