Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented hotel Houseman to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and an ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of the exterior & interior of the building Must be able to perform light Maintenace duties such as changing light bulbs, A/C filters, etc. Strip check out rooms dirty linen such as towels, sheets, etc. Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions. Shoveling snow in the winter, mowing grass in the Spring and Summer.. Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and stairwells, and public restrooms. Must have a "Can do" attitude when asked to perform other duties to assist the team. Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, folding, and organizing linens. Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service. Mow grass and use a weed eater in the Spring andd Summer months Qualifications Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hospitality standards and practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items as needed. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is beneficial for maintaining various surfaces.
