Hotel Housekeeper

Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, common spaces, and outdoor patios during weekend shifts Use proper cleaning techniques and equipment to maintain high sanitation standards in accordance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust, dirt, and debris using appropriate cleaning agents Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and applying protective treatments as needed Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linens to ensure readiness for residents or guests Follow environmental services protocols to dispose of waste properly and promote eco-friendly cleaning practices Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing additional attention or repair Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a focus on commercial cleaning or environmental services Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to cleaning procedures and chemical handling Experience with floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, or carpet cleaning is preferred Prior hospital or healthcare environment experience is a plus—familiarity with sanitation protocols in sensitive settings Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently during weekend hours with minimal supervision Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks Join us in creating safe and inviting environments!
