Housekeeping Worker

Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, patient areas, or office spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, restocking supplies, and ensuring all areas meet health and safety regulations Operate floor care equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners to maintain pristine flooring Follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues Assist with waste removal and recycling processes in accordance with environmental services protocols Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention and report maintenance issues promptly Support janitorial and custodial tasks in both routine cleaning schedules and special sanitation projects Qualifications Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred, especially in healthcare or hospitality settings Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to cleaning and sanitation practices Experience with environmental services, commercial cleaning, or hospital housekeeping is highly desirable Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, vacuums, and extractors effectively Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift Join us in creating clean, safe spaces where everyone feels comfortable!
