Hotel Housekeeper

Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and polishing surfaces to maintain a polished appearance. Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to meet guest needs efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of public spaces including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by sweeping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces. Follow established safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to promote a safe environment for guests and staff. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards. Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work or hospitality housekeeping roles preferred; hotel experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning methods. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably. Familiarity with custodial equipment and cleaning chemicals; housekeeper management experience is advantageous. Positive attitude with strong communication skills and reliability.
