Housekeeper

The Promissory Hotel is searching for dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our growing team as Housekeepers, part-time and on-call when needed. As a valued team member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel while providing friendly and efficient service to our guests at our soon-to-be-open destination boutique hotel with a vibrant restaurant/bar, Suerte , and live music hall, The Exchange .

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Smile, have fun, and be energetic! Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas. Changing linens, making beds, and deep cleaning bathrooms. Vacuuming, dusting, and window cleaning all areas. Ensure all guestroom amenities are stocked and appliances are in good condition. Retrieving and restocking the housekeeping carts according to standard housekeeping, safety, and security procedures. Responding to guest requests and reporting maintenance issues. Properly storing any lost items and reporting any damage to the manager. Assist with inventory tracking of housekeeping and laundry supplies. Assist in other housekeeping duties as needed.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and cleanliness. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. A friendly and hospitable demeanor. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. Knowledge of the Roanoke region and the town's local attractions. Why Join Our Team?
