Housekeeper

Reliable Housekeeper Wanted for Senior in Staunton Seeking a dependable housekeeper for an independent, disabled senior citizen. He is hard of hearing, diabetic, and uses a power wheelchair and a walker. He is takes care of his own personal hygiene, and drives his own car. The focus is on maintaining a clean and safe living space. The areas of the home to maintain are 2 rooms, kitchen, and bathroom, total under 1000 sq. feet.

Detailed Duties:

Laundry, washing and folding Sweeping and cleaning Watering houseplants Refilling bird feeder Checking mailbox Emptying trash cans, putting garbage bins out on pick up day Occasional cooking

Grocery Shopping Frequency/Hours:

2-3 Days a Week Flexible hours, 2-6 hours a day (Average 2-3)

Requirements:

Patient, reliable, has a car & driver's license. Should be comfortable with dogs (Plans to acquire one in the near future.) References are required, experience preferred.

Pay:

$16 an hour
