Hotel Housekeeper

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate will ensure a welcoming environment for guests by providing exceptional cleaning services, adhering to hotel standards, and maintaining a high level of hospitality. This role is essential in delivering a positive guest experience and upholding the hotel's reputation for cleanliness and comfort. Duties Clean and disinfect guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to ensure pristine floors Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens to meet guest needs Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and elevators Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided Experience with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods is advantageous Background in hospitality or custodial management can be beneficial for advancement opportunities Familiarity with cleaning equipment, supplies, and safety procedures is a plus This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment where attention to detail and customer service are valued.
