Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Houseman/Runner, where your energy and attention to detail will elevate guest experiences and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and service. In this vital role, you will support the smooth operation of our facility by ensuring all areas are spotless, well-maintained, and ready to impress. Your proactive approach and dedication will help create a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike, making every stay memorable. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain impeccable hygiene standards. Assist with floor care tasks such as polishing, buffing, and deep cleaning to preserve the appearance of all flooring types. Support housekeeping management by restocking supplies, organizing linen closets, and ensuring all cleaning equipment is maintained in excellent condition. Deliver amenities, linens, and supplies promptly to designated areas or guest rooms as needed, ensuring timely service. Conduct janitorial and custodial tasks across the property, including industrial cleaning procedures when required for larger or specialized areas. Support event setups or special requests by moving furniture or equipment efficiently and carefully. Collaborate with team members to uphold hospitality standards and ensure a seamless guest experience at all times. Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated janitorial or custodial experience with knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety protocols. Experience with floor care methods such as polishing or buffing is a plus. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and procedures enhances your ability to handle diverse cleaning challenges. Background in hospitality management or related roles helps in understanding guest service expectations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. A positive attitude coupled with excellent communication skills ensures effective teamwork and guest interactions.
