Job Description

Our Independent Living Community is in need of a housekeeper to round out our day-time team. The apartments in our community are cleaned each week by a team of 3 housekeepers. This position could be part-time by working Wednesday
  • Friday, or full-time by working Monday
  • Friday. For the right person we are willing to be flexible. The hours are 8 or 8:30 a.m. to between 2:30
  • 3:30 p.
m. (could vary by the day). Major holidays off and no weekends or no nights ! For full-time staff, we offer combined time off, health and dental insurance. Part-time employees may also have combined time off and for either position there is an annual bonus at the end of the year. For the right person there may be an opportunity for growth within our company.
Responsibilities:
  • Arrive on time and ready to work.
  • Maintain professionalism while on the job with staff and residents.
  • Maintain a cheerful and positive attitude.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Meet cleaning expectations for apartments and common areas.
  • Effective and appropriate communication between co-workers, management, and residents.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Facilities Mmanager or Executive Director.
Requirements:
  • Reliable
  • Some prior experience/knowledge of cleaning is a plus

  • Professional, caring, kind and a positive attitude
  • Can work on own, as well as part of a team
  • Be able to pass a background check

Weekly housekeeping services from caring staff goes a long way to maintaining the well-being and happiness of those that live here. This position reports to the Housekeeping Manager (HM) and will work closely with the HM to ensure a clean and satisfactory environment that aligns with our brand promise.
