In this role, you will support the housekeeping department by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with floor care, and ensuring all public and guest areas are spotless and inviting. Your proactive approach and dedication to cleanliness will help elevate the guest experience and uphold our high standards of hospitality excellence. Responsibilities Assist with cleaning and maintaining public spaces, guest corridors, and back-of-house areas to ensure they meet cleanliness standards. Perform detailed floor care, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing surfaces to keep floors immaculate. Support housekeeping staff with replenishing supplies, changing linens, and restocking amenities as needed. Handle janitorial tasks such as waste removal, cleaning windows, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces to promote a hygienic environment. Contribute to industrial cleaning tasks when required, utilizing appropriate equipment for deep cleaning projects. Ensure all areas are safe and well-maintained by reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to deliver consistent quality service. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial settings. Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable for understanding guest service standards. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus for supporting overall department operations.
