Job Description
The Lead Facilities Worker keeps the casino clean, safe, and guest-ready while guiding new team members and strengthening the skills of current staff. This role trains new hires, supports staffing and scheduling recommendations, follows supervisor instructions, and maintains all interior and exterior areas to uphold a professional and sanitary environment. The Lead Facilities Worker delivers consistent guest service, promotes positive employee relations through professional conduct, and performs any additional duties that support smooth operations and established procedures. Starts at $20.90/hr and increases to $21.50/hr at successful completion of 90-day orientation period. This full-time position features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredExperience & Requirements:
Previous facility work required Must have experience in general housekeeping and ground clean up Ability to use hand and power tools Knowledge in using cleaning solutions and repairing cleaning equipment Previous supervisory experience preferredPhysical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours The ability to lift up to 75 pounds Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environmentAdditional Requirements:
Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays All applicants must obtain a Class III B license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. However, the use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant unless the position requires driving a company vehicle.
